Iron Maiden, on the occasion of completing half a century of life in the music industry, will carry out a gigantic tour in 2025.
Called the “Run For Your Lives tour”, they will start on May 27th in Budapest and a few days later they will perform in Prague.
They promise that their set list will be very special and will focus on their first nine albums.
They will then play five shows across the UK and Ireland at venues including the London Stadium, home of band founder Steve Harris’ favourite team, West Ham.
“My love of football and my support for West Ham is no secret and I know that many of our fans around the world have shared that with me.
“So we’re all really excited to be playing at London Stadium as part of the tour,” said Steve Harris. “And of course it’s not just London, the whole UK tour will be a real celebration for us all.”
American rockers Halestorm will be the guests at the open-air shows in London and Dublin, while The Raven Ag will open all the UK and Ireland shows.
“50 years of Maiden and I’ve watched 46 of them!” said the group’s famed manager Rod Smallwood in a statement.
“With sales of over 100 million albums and almost 2,500 shows in 64 countries we continue to play in front of countless millions of fans. We are all still loving every second and approaching each tour as a new challenge to bring something different and exciting to our fans.”
