Kim Kardashian‘s meeting with some notorious inmates… talking about prison reform with Erika and Lyle Menendezamong others — right after Erik criticized his colleague Ryan Murphyof the program’s, which is all about their lives.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ… Kim just stopped by the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility near San Diego to speak with a group of about 40 inmates — including Erik and Lyle.
She was accompanied by her sister Khloe Kardashian and mom Kris Jenner …as well as a film producer Scott Budnick — and, surprisingly, an actor Cooper Koch who plays Erik in Netflix’s new biographical series, “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.”
We’re told the group of superstars came to talk about all the work they’re doing on criminal justice reform… as you know, Kim is extremely passionate about advocacy on this issue — regularly speaking to incarcerated people about various projects she’s supporting.
One of the main talking points… Greenspace, a reform strategy about beautifying prison yards to help inmates rehabilitate — led by Lyle Menendez. Erik is also a key part of the project.
As we told you… Erik recently called Murphy’s new series bullshit — blowing up the show as a “naive and inaccurate” representation of the murders that made headlines around the world.
He said RM went out of his way to portray him and his brother in the worst possible light, omitting allegations of abuse against their father.
Of course, Erik and Lyle are serving life sentences for brutally murdering their parents, Joseph and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menendezwith a shotgun in 1989.

Kim is close to Ryan after working on the last season of “American Horror Story” with the prolific producer… so hopefully there wasn’t any awkwardness during the meet and greet, given Erik’s less-than-positive review.
