Angelina Jolie and his daughter Vivienne are forever ‘Outsiders’… permanently inking themselves with matching tattoos referencing the hit Broadway musical they worked on together.
The actress revealed her matching tattoos during an interview with CR Fashion Book …saying they both have “Stay Gold” — an iconic line from “The Outsiders” and the title of a song in the Broadway show — written across their bodies.
Angelina says the show — the first Broadway play she’s produced and the first show her son has had a role in — means a lot to both of them, both collectively and separately… and they wanted to celebrate the achievement.
In case you’re curious… Jolie’s tattoo is on her wrist, but she didn’t indicate where Vivienne decided to get her own tattoo.
It’s worth noting that Vivienne is 16 years old — so she definitely needed her parents’ consent to get this tattoo. Easy to get when your mom is in the chair next to you, we suppose.
We tell you all about “The Outsiders” and Vivienne’s role in getting her mother to support him. Remember, Angelina’s father Jon Voight says Vivienne convinced his mother to go to San Diego to see the original production… and that ultimately led to AJ landing a producing role. She won a Tony when the show won
Vivienne worked as part of the show’s crew… earning Playbill credits under the name Vivienne Jolie — falling the “Pitt” in his last name.
It’s safe to say that Vivienne feels much closer to her mother Angelina than she does to her father. Brad Pitt lately… and, you have to say, their relationship continues to be the gold standard!
