Janet Jacksonis promoting a conspiracy theory about Kamala Harris‘ race … repeating allegations Donald Trump made about the vice president a few months ago — claiming she is not black.
The music legend sat down for a chat with The Guardianpublished Friday night, when the interviewer asked her about the upcoming election and how she felt about the possibility of having a black woman in the White House.
In response, JJ responds that he heard that KH isn’t actually black… and is actually Indian — a claim DJT made during a disastrous talk at the National Association of Black Journalists Annual Convention in July.
When the interviewer tells Janet that Kamala is actually black and Indian, she goes a step further… adding, “Her father is white. That’s what I’ve been told. I mean, I haven’t watched the news in a few days. They told me they found out her father was white.”
JJ goes on to say that she believes there will be chaos no matter who ends up in the White House… implying that she doesn’t envision a peaceful transition of power for this election.

If you don’t recall… in July, Trump told a group of reporters that Harris “became black” for political gain — claiming she had focused solely on her Native American heritage up until that point.
The comment caused controversy… with many criticizing the comment as ignorant — while other celebrities as Lil Bomb supported Trump’s statement.

It’s worth noting… Harris’s father is a renowned Jamaican-American economist, and Harris identifies as black — it’s unclear where Jackson heard the rumor that her father is white.
We contacted Jackson for clarification… so far, no response.
