An inmate at an Arizona prison was caught crawling past a security guard to get to the women’s side of the unit … where, according to court documents, he said he intended to “rape” a female inmate.
The disturbing incident happened in front of surveillance cameras in April… Justin Avery was seen sneaking past a guard at 4 a.m. at the Maricopa County Intake Center, where he was being held for allegedly sexually assaulting five women near Arizona State University’s Tempe campus.
According to court documents obtained by ABC15he slithered away “like a spider” after saying he was attracted to a female inmate’s “fat ass.”
Doctors say Avery walked over to the women’s side and pulled down his pants behind a sleeping inmate… allegedly later admitting he planned to sexually assault her.
Apparently, he was stopped when another woman saw him and yelled at him to get off her… which prompted a security guard to intervene.
According to the report, he later “confessed to his actions and was charged with an additional count of sexual assault.”
He is due in court next week.
