Corey SeagerTuesday night’s game-ending home run proved costly for at least one Phillies fan… who lost an entire plate of nachos because of it!
Here’s the thing… the Texas Rangers star was trying to rally his team from a 3-1 loss against the Phils in the eighth inning at Citizens Bank Park – when he threw a ball deep into right field.
“All you have to do is check the baseball. If there’s cheese on it, it’s gone.”

When he fell toward the stands, it initially looked like he bounced off some railing… leaving him with just a double.
But, replays showed that it actually hit a woman’s tray of cheese fries before falling onto the stadium tracks… making it a home run – and an embarrassing moment, to say the least, for the stadium fan. Phils.
Check out the footage, instead of getting rid of the food and trying to grab it with her bare hands, the woman used her plastic container full of goods to try and grab it – creating a huge mess in the stadium’s warning lane.
The game announcers had a lot of fun watching it all – with one of them noting that the referees should have simply checked the ball for cheese to see if it was a dinger!!
The Rangers, however, ended up losing despite the individual play – falling 5-2.
The two teams will play in Philadelphia again on Wednesday night … no word if Seager has plans to replenish his wife’s meal – although with a $325 million contract, he can certainly afford it.
