Zach Bryanis retreating from its recent Taylor Swift comments … apologizing to his legions of fans after he said he made some drunken posts on X the other night.
The singer-songwriter posted a photo of the cover of T-Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department” album… explaining that he recently wrote that he thinks Kanye makes better music than Swift because he drunkenly tried to compare the two albums and it came out all wrong.
ZB says he was speaking strictly musically and wasn’t co-signing any of them Ye’s other beliefs …before adding that he also loves Taylor’s music — and simply got the post wrong.
In a follow-up post, Zach claims he’s been going through a tough time in his life… and projected his own issues onto Taylor. He says it came across as super rude — and didn’t embody the respect he has for the pop star.
Bryan says TS has been a force of nature for years… and he also offers some advice to fans — encouraging them not to “drink and tweet.”
ICYMI… Zach deactivated his X account after tweeting “eagles > chiefs Kanye > Taylor who’s with me” — basically saying Tay’s arch-nemesis is the better of the two artists.
Of course, Swifties were quick to react… slamming Zach for his comment — and forcing him to shut down his social media for a while.
Looks like Zach is rethinking his musical math now… and he’s overdoing the apology.
