Here’s What Rip Micheals Said About His Wife
On Thursday, April 4, the official Instagram account for Angela Yee’s radio show ‘Way Up With Angela Yee’ shared a video clip from a recent release episode featuring Rip Micheals.
In the clip, Micheals explains that during his hospitalization he became “very close” to his daughter. The comedian went on to say that his wife left him while he was in the hospital.
“My wife also left me while I was in the hospital,” he explained. “… I think when she says, ‘Till death do us part,’ she’s an entrepreneur. She doesn’t like to procrastinate. So she was out.
Micheals explained that he and his wife have been married for two years.
In response, Yee called Michaels’ ex-spouse’s actions “cold-blooded.”
“Yeah, um, I think when I said I was in the ICU, she said, ‘I’ll see you later,’” the comedian continued to joke. “So she was out of there.”
From then on, the comedian explained that it was “difficult to deal” with his wife’s departure. However, he learned an important lesson from the experience.
