Israel’s Prime Minister postpones his departure for New York by one day, Benjamin Netanyahuas scheduled for September 24th.
This postponement due to the prevailing security situation in northern Israel, an official in the Israeli prime minister’s office told AFP today.
Departure on September 25th
Netanyahu “postponed his visit to the United States by a day due to the security situation in northern Israel,” where the army faces repeated rocket attacks from Lebanon’s Hezbollah, the official said.
“The prime minister is currently expected to leave Israel on Wednesday, September 25, instead of Tuesday, September 24,” he added.
