Matty Healyfinally responding to Taylor SwiftThe diss track is aimed at him – but fans won’t get the drama they expected from him… quite the opposite, in fact.
The 1975 singer stepped out in Los Angeles on Wednesday … and a photographer asked him how he would rate his diss track compared to the other 30 on Taylor’s 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
Remember… Taylor’s new song “But Daddy I Love Him” apparently mentions Healy and the criticism surrounding her turbulent fling following her breakup with her longtime partner Joe Alwyn last year. More of a diss track for his fans, really… but Matty is the center of it all.
There were actually a few songs about Matty, including the titular ‘Department of Tortured Poets’.
In this, Swift sings: “You smoked and then ate seven chocolate bars, we declared that Charlie Puth should be a greater artist // I scratch your head, you fall asleep like a tattooed golden retriever.” Not the wildest burn… but still, people thought MH might have an answer.
As we said, Healy played dumb and said he didn’t know what the photographer was talking about (of course, that’s bullshit… he knows 100%). Funny enough, MH says he hasn’t actually heard most of Tay’s album – but says he’s sure it’s all solid. Touché, sir.
Kind words from Healy… who split from Taylor Swift after about a month of dating last year – and all the separation seemed friendly, so it’s no surprise he’s not badmouthing T-Swizzle.
The thing is… there might not be anything for him to react to – because Taylor didn’t destroy him on the album… so maybe that’s why he’s not really stressed.
The same can’t be said about Joe — not to mention all the other exes she’s torched in her music. All things considered, Matty came out of it all relatively unscathed… this despite the fact that Swifties felt he was a bad guy and not worthy of being with her.

Either way, Matty isn’t fueling the rumor mill here – instead, he’s letting dissension lie dormant.
