A 22-year-old woman is accused of murder by the Parma prosecutor’s office, who allegedly killed and buried her newborn baby in a field near her home.
The newborn’s body was found in early August, following police investigations. A few days ago, police authorities found the remains of another child in the same area who, according to investigations to date, must have been buried there about a year ago.
The woman, who studies law in Parma, has so far only admitted responsibility for the first murder.
She gave birth alone and no one knew she was pregnant
The baby’s father and the girl’s fiancé, who is the same age as her, appear to have been unaware that their partner was pregnant and have not been charged. According to prosecutors, the woman gave birth alone, without any help from a doctor or nurse and no one knew she was pregnant.
As reported by the Parma Public Prosecutor’s Office, the news of the discovery of the second child’s body on the land is true, but the related investigations, using DNA tests, have not yet been completed.
