Cristina Quinn is changing a revealing accessory. In the former Selling sunsets the star’s first public performance since her husband, Christian DumontetAfter several arrests, she exchanged her engagement ring for another dazzling diamond.
On Wednesday, Quinn attended a Xerjoff Perfume event in Los Angeles and wore a ring with a blue gemstone on her left ring finger instead of her 20-carat oval-cut Dumontet engagement ring.
She and the tech entrepreneur married in December 2019. They share a son, Christian, who turns 3 in May.
Quinn paired the accessory with a sparkly strapless dress as she smiled for the photos, some of which included her former co-worker, Davina Potratz.
Earlier this month, Dumontet was arrested in a charge attack with a deadly weapon. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told ET that Quinn and Dumontet were involved in a domestic dispute when it was alleged that he threw a bag containing a glass bottle at her and missed, hitting her son.
Less than 48 hours later, Dumontet was arrested again, this time accused of violating a restraining order. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 11.
Amidst the drama, Quinn filed for a temporary restraining order against Dumontet. According to documents obtained by ET, Quinn stated that Dumontet threw a tantrum when she tried to talk to him about the family’s expenses and that she was increasingly dissatisfied with “his lack of financial contribution and what I perceived as his lack of of effort he made to be a true partner.”
At that point, Quinn claimed, he became angry and began throwing things at her, including decorative items that contained metal rods. She also alleged that Dumontet ripped off his penis and began urinating on the floor and threw dog feces at her.
Quinn also alleged that when she began packing her things, Dumontet threw a bag full of recyclables at her but hit their son. Quinn claimed the bag of recyclables contained glass and alleges that when her son started screaming, she left the room with her son and called 911.
Quinn requested that the court order Dumontet to stay away from her, her son and her two dogs. She also asked for sole physical and legal custody of their son and for Dumontet to have monitored visitation, but only after they enter into a child custody agreement.
Dumontet responded by filing for a restraining order against Quinn, alleging he was once abused by his wife and alleging she falsely accused him of domestic violence in an attempt to gain leverage in potential divorce and custody proceedings, documents show. He also alleged that Quinn blocked him from contact with family, friends, co-workers and from access to his finances, medications and personal and legal documents and tools essential to his work.
As for the incident itself, Dumontet claimed he discovered Quinn’s dogs urinating on very “valuable” and “irreplicable” items and confronted her about the mess. He said he threw a bag to the side of the room, denying that the bag contained glass and claiming it did not hit either Quinn or their son.
Dumontet requested that Quinn stay away from their shared residence in Los Angeles, as well as an order for her to move out. He also asked that their communication be recorded. As for her son, Dumontet filed a request for visitation and a custody order. He also asked the judge to make orders for joint physical and legal custody when it comes to his son and to allow unsupervised visits with his son.
A judge ordered the estranged couple to participate in an online mediation to discuss child custody and visitation. If an agreement cannot be reached, both parents must participate in mediation with a mediator from Family Court Services, which is tentatively scheduled for April 11 via video conference.
