Ice Cube will have to wait a little longer to get a response from Caitlin Clark on his $5 million Big3 offer… the Iowa superstar just revealed he hasn’t yet considered the deal — as his current focus is exclusively on winning the NCAA tournament.
The 22-year-old spoke to reporters about Cube’s proposal on Friday afternoon — the day before she took the court against Colorado in the Sweet 16 — and she made it clear that it’s not even remotely on her mind right now.
In fact, she said she found out about the offer this week — “exactly the same time you all found out.”
“Honestly, I don’t talk about this stuff with anyone,” Clark said. “I have other people who deal with this. They haven’t said a word to me about it. And my main focus is on this team and helping us find a way to beat Colorado and hopefully beat another one after that.”
We tell the story… Cube put the deal on Clark’s desk recently – offering your life-changing money to play in just eight games. The rap legend and Big3 boss, however, said on Wednesday that I hadn’t heard yet a “yes” or a “no”.

Still, he’s obviously hopeful that she’ll eventually take him up on the offer… saying Pat McAfee on Wednesday, “This is a special situation, a special player who is moving the needle in a lot of different areas, you know, ratings, attendance, ticket sales.”
“Of course, our sponsors are very interested in a player like this. This is our first look at planning to go after this aggressively because we know it would change the league and that’s where we want to be.”
If Clark wins on Saturday, she will play again in the Elite Eight on Monday. The next disputes would be the Final Four, on April 5th, and the championship, on April 7th.
Cube will then be able to get his answer soon after… so stay tuned.
