Today, the world of cinema has become a true cinematic universe where individual film series intersect all the time. Several superheroes will come together to fight a threat that none of them could face alone. Or Godzilla and King Kong will fight and/or fight other kaiju to see who is the true king of the monsters.
When these crossover sequences work, they’re a lot of fun; they explore our collective love of imagination and cinema’s unique ability to transform the impossible into reality.
