David BeckhamThe famous family continues to grow – this time with three new feathered members.
On Instagram, the retired football star revealed he is the proud father of three new chickens. “So I added three new family members and they have adapted perfectly,” he captioned a video of the animals outside. The father of four is no stranger to raising chickens—he’s previously posted about the various chickens he owns. Earlier this month, he posted a video walking among his chickens and trying to feed them.
“A little light gardening with the kids 🐓 🐓 I think they like me 🐓🐓 🥚,” he captioned the clip. “@victoriabeckham thanks for the inspiration 🎵.”
In December 2023, wife Victoria Beckham revealed that David received chickens for Christmas. “What do you get @davidbeckham for Christmas??” she asked in the caption of a video she posted on Instagram.
In the footage, fans could see the athlete spreading food to the animals while the chickens timidly came down from the coop. “Beckham chickens,” Victoria proclaimed.
As fans well know, the longtime couple – who celebrated your 24th wedding anniversary in July 2023 — they are also parents to human children: sons Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 19, and daughter Harper, 12.
When the close-knit family isn’t celebrating holidays at home with the chickens, they can be found supporting each other’s various endeavors. Just this month, the entire family – including Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz – sat front row at the Victoria’s fashion show for her namesake brand at Paris Fashion Week.
Like a Victoria on crutches, who broke my foot a month beforearrived on the runway at the end of the show, she and David shared a sweet congratulatory kiss.
“I really liked her. I liked her,” David recently recalled his first impression of his future wife on SiriusXM This Life of Mine with James Corden podcast. “I didn’t know what she was like as a person. In fact, I just liked her, like most people at that time, and I didn’t know who I was going to marry, who I was going to be with for the rest of my life. I didn’t realize that she was a strong woman and that’s what really attracted me to her more than anything.”
He continued, “Yes, she’s beautiful. Yes, she was sexy. Yes, I liked her, but in all honesty, I like a strong woman and I like the fact that she works hard. I like the fact that she’s a great mom I like the fact that she takes care of me sometimes, most of the time, and, you know, we’ve created this life with four amazing kids, who are the most important things in our life, so that’s why I chose Victoria.”
