A college basketball player seemed to suggest Kylie Jenner recently tried to yell at him — but unfortunately for him… that couldn’t be further from the truth, TMZ has learned.
UNC sniper guard, 23 years old Paxson Wojcik was leaning into the notion that Kylie was interested in him in the digital world — at least based on a video a reporter took of him after a game last week… where the interviewer dropped the beauty mogul’s name directly.
Check it out… Paxson is bombarded with questions from this guy after the game, and the line of questioning is pretty straightforward – “What do you have to say about the rumors that Kylie slid into your DMs???” In fact, there really wasn’t any rumor until his friend posted it online.
As you can see, Paxson says he can’t talk about these “rumors” – but he says it very tongue-in-cheek… and even goes back to say that his team will be in Los Angeles this week.
It’s true… UNC is set to play Alabama on Thursday for a Sweet 16 matchup, and they’re playing at the Crypto.com Arena — something Paxson is very excited about.
As the reporter correctly points out… the KarJenners are in Los Angeles, something Paxson is well aware of… but it really came out of nowhere, and that’s how we now know it’s complete bullshit. Sources with direct knowledge tell us that Kylie never contacted this guy, period.

Paxson Manager, TJ Beisner, tells us that PW didn’t speak to Kylie — and that this was all made up. We’re told Paxson answered his friend’s question offhand and that he meant no harm… and now he realizes he was inappropriate in his joke.
Beisner told us that Paxson expressed her regrets to him and conveyed it to Kylie’s team. In other words…it’s complete bullshit – and it looks like Paxson feels bad about it.
There have been other hints that there may have been fire here – including the fact that Paxson recently joined SKIMS – plus he dropped her name once again in an IG story he posted that included a MadeinTYO lyrics… “Bad bad short, yes, with those Kylie Jenner lips.”
Lesson learned… keep the KarJenners’ names out of your mouth. No slaps, though. 😆
