Star of “Mighty Ducks” Shaun Weiss knows how to get a crowd excited… leading the audience in an iconic ‘Ducks’ chant – and throwing out autographed gear.
The actor/comedian — best known as Goldberg, the goalie in the ‘Ducks’ trilogy — went to the House of Blues in Anaheim for the country singer Niko Luathe tour.
Weiss and Moon are both former addicts, and we’re told that Moon wanted to highlight Weiss’s recovery — pointing to him as a “hometown hero” of sorts — since the Anaheim Ducks, who were actually named after the series of movies, playing very close to the House of Blues.
By the way… Niko is donating all proceeds from the streaming of his new single “Better Today” to the Happy Cowboy Foundation – a charity he founded that is committed to providing free therapy for people dealing with mental health and drug addiction issues.
Anyway, take a look at the video… Shaun is clearly loving the atmosphere as he hands Niko his own Goldberg shirt – before the singing begins.
If you haven’t seen ‘MD’… players cheer themselves up before a match by quacking together – saying “quack” repeatedly before a big game. Here, Weiss did the same to get the crowd going… and damn, it worked.

We’re told Shaun and Niko also dropped some autographed jerseys for the fans in the crowd…showing off their baseball skills by throwing their hockey jerseys off the stage.
This all serves as something of a celebration for SW too, in fact… the former child star recently achieved four years of sobriety – although some people didn’t believe it.

Remember, recently people were worried that he had broken his streak of sobriety, but Shaun told us that definitely didn’t relapse …and says he would ask for help if he walked away.
It looks like Shaun is doing great… inspiring people with his sobriety – one charlatan at a time.
