Actress Gina Bellman – best known for her role as Sophie Devereaux in the series “Leverage” – posted a message of support for X for the Princess of Wales just over an hour later Kate’s video shocked the world.
And, minutes after his first tweet applauding KM’s bravery… Bellman told his followers about his own cancer diagnosis.
In her second tweet, Gina wrote: “I myself was treated for breast cancer last summer. Until now, I haven’t had the courage to go public. undergoing treatment now – there is light at the end of this tunnel.”

This just goes to show how influential Kate’s announcement video is becoming… it also has many other stars affected by cancer speaking out.

Olivia Munn – who revealed earlier this month that she was diagnosed with breast cancer – sent Kate a message of support… and we spoke to Nicole Eggert Who sympathized with Kate’s situation and offered some advice.
Basically, Kate started a real dialogue about cancer… and as she deals with her own recovery, it looks like she’s also helping a lot of other people progress on their journeys.
BY THE WAY… William and Kate have since released a statement thanking the world for its support following the revelation — and for respecting their privacy.
In short… the Princess of Wales is giving courage to a lot of people – including celebrities.
