Cameron Diaz It is Benji Madden They are expanding their family! On Friday, the couple together, they took to Instagram to announce the arrival of their second child, a son named Cardinal.
To share the news, Diaz and Madden posted a photo of a piece of art, which read, “A little bird whispered to me.”
In the caption, Madden revealed the news, which surprised fans, as he and Diaz had not previously shared what they were expecting.
“We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our son, Cardinal Madden,” Madden wrote. “He’s amazing and we’re all so happy he’s here!”
“For the children’s safety and privacy, we won’t be posting any photos – but he’s so cute,” the caption continued. “We are feeling so blessed and grateful. Sending lots of love from our family to yours. Best wishes and good afternoon!!”
It’s no surprise that the notoriously private duo, who tied the knot in 2015, have been tight-lipped about their little one’s arrival. When they announced the birth of their first childa daughter named Raddixin 2019, they did so with a similar Instagram post.
“We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden,” Diaz wrote. “She instantly captured our hearts and completed our family.”
“While we are overjoyed to share this news, we also feel a strong instinct to protect our son’s privacy,” the caption continues. “So we will not be posting photos or sharing any more details other than the fact that she is actually really cute!! Some would even say RAD :)”
