While conspiracy theorists obsess over the appearance of Kate Middleton’s farm stand, Piers Morgan, however, has doubts about the Princess of Wales’ edited Mother’s Day photo.
“I’m not convinced that the photo of Kate herself was taken the week before,” the journalist, 58, told TMZ in a clip from the channel’s “Where’s Kate Middleton?” in particular, which airs on Thursday.
“I know someone who saw her that week and said she looked nothing like the picture,” he continued. “It was just anyone who met her and said she looked a lot thinner than in the picture.”
Morgan clarified: “Kate is quite thin anyway and she or he was described to me as being thinner than normal (after abdominal surgery in January).”
Since Middleton, 42, looked “absolutely blossoming and in good health” in the family photo with Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, the “Piers Morgan Uncensored” host doubts it’s a actual picture.
“I don’t think this is an accurate reflection of exactly how she appears at that time,” he said.
After the portrait was shared on March 10, royal fans were quick to point out mismatched zippers, smudged fingers, and more potential Photoshop mistakes.
Middleton confessed to “often experimenting with modifications” as a “beginning photographer” the next day.
“I want to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused,” she wrote in a March 11 statement. “I hope everyone celebrating had a really happy Mother’s Day. W.”
On Tuesday, another portrait of Middleton was deemed “digitally enhanced” by Getty Photographs because the photography company revisited earlier photos.
The image in question showed Queen Elizabeth II posing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in April 2022.
Modifying the bit, Middleton also trash-talked when she and Prince William visited a farmers market in Windsor on Saturday.
When photos of the weekend outing made headlines on Monday, many social media users speculated about the use of a physical body double.
Andy Cohen summed up the suspicions, tweeting: “That’s not Kate.”
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tech CEO friend Christopher Bouzy posted old videos to question Kate’s ultimate difference from her husband in the new photos.
Palace sources told Page Six that the exit was originally planned to “put an end to” conspiracy theories.
Cricketer Kevin Pietersen came to Middleton’s defense via X on Tuesday, claiming he saw her “in the last few days.”
He concluded: “Let OK, who is recovering from an operation, recover. Leave her and her beautiful family alone!!!!”
