Megan Fox confirmed this week that she and Machine Gun Kelly have called off their engagement.
But despite this bombshell, it’s still hard to say exactly what’s going on between the two.
Megan appeared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast on Wednesday and gave some surprisingly candid answers to questions about her relationship.
But she has also been shy about certain aspects of her love life.
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly: the engagement is over
When host Alex Cooper set the stage by noting that Megan and MGK “were engaged, so I guess it got canceled,” Fox confirmed the accuracy of that description.
“All those things you said were accurate things that happened,” Megan responded, according to In touch.
From then on, however, Megan became much more reserved.
“What I’ve learned about being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption. So I guess right now I have no comment on the status of the relationship itself,” Megan said.
“What I can say is (he) is what I call my soulmate, and there will always be a connection with him no matter what,” she added.
“I can’t say for sure what the crowd will be, but I will always be connected to it in some way. Besides, I’m not willing to explain.”
Did Megan and MGK break up?
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard Megan and MGK calling off their engagement.
But while most initial reports claimed the couple had split, in her latest interview, Megan seemed to be hinting that there is still some life left in the relationship.
If that’s the case, however, these two are moving much slower than before.
According to a new report from Page sixMegan and MGK are living apart as they try to figure out the next phase of their relationship.
“They made this deal to give each other space while they were still together. (They) are in a difficult time right now. This changes every day,” a source told the channel.
“The friends around them don’t see them completely ending the relationship, as they actually change their minds every day.”
We may never know if there is any truth to the rumors that MGK was caught cheating on Megan.
But whatever the case, it looks like these two have recently encountered some difficulties that have caused them to hit the brakes.
Megan probably hoped her latest comments would be the last word on the matter, but it looks like fans are more curious than ever about this A-list pair’s status.
