Savannah Chrisley are feeling super optimistic about their parents, Todd It is Julie Chrisleybeing released from prison sooner or later.
Savannah, who was recently eliminated from the The masked singer, spoke with ET’s Nischelle Turner and sang an upbeat song while talking about her parents’ upcoming appeal. It was last winter that she shared that the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals agreed to hear oral arguments on the case. Todd and Julie were convicted of fraud in November 2022 and reported to prison in January 2023. Although the reality stars were initially sentenced to a combined 19-year sentence, Todd is serving his reduced 10-year prison sentence in Pensacola, Florida, while Julie is serving a reduced five-year sentence in Lexington, Kentucky.
Since reporting to prison, Savannah has sought to help free her parents, and now the chance to appeal their sentences is getting closer and closer.
“We eagerly await our appeal on April 19,” Savannah told ET. “Obviously, I hope to have them home, maybe by the end of the summer.”
Since her parents have been behind bars, the 26-year-old has taken on the responsibility of raising her two younger siblings, Grayson and Chloe.
“I’m just trying to do it all,” Savannah said referring to working full time, managing a social/love life and helping her parents fight the legal system. “Raising a 17- and 11-year-old son is a full-time job, but so is working and trying to provide a life for them, and fighting day after day with lawyers to get my parents home.”
With so many complexities on her plate, many wonder if Savannah could have a second act, perhaps as a lawyer?
“I would do it if my mother came home,” she said. “I told Grayson I would do it. So if Mom comes home, it will obviously be her and Chloe, or if Mom and Dad come home, I will definitely go back to school and try to become a lawyer. It’s never too late to follow your dreams. If I could be a lawyer at 30 or 32, maybe I could do it.

“Robert has been a great support system and it’s a very adult relationship, you know?” Savannah said. “He has his own things going on. I have my own thing, but we have been able to lean on each other.”
