Meghan Markleis launching her new lifestyle brand and it looks like she has a lot of ideas about what she wants to do with it… plus probably sell a lot of products.
The Duchess of Sussex’s company used to secure the rights to something called American Riviera Orchard in early February — which she officially announced online Thursday — by submitting trademark applications in several different categories.
Among the items she could end up selling in the new business — assuming logos are allowed, that is — are cookbooks, cutlery, coffee and tea sets, jellies, jams, tablecloths, cookbooks, cutlery, cutlery , folders of all types… and much more.
It looks like she’s envisioning things to move easily in that direction…’so, as we said, she’s just launched the ARO website and an Instagram page dedicated to the new business.
Until now, the IG page reveals only the company’s brand… but a brief clip in the page’s story shows Markle cooking while Nancy Wilson‘I Want You Love’ plays over it. The page already has 199,000 followers, in fact – it’s safe to say that people are very excited about whatever Markle has purchased.
While it’s unclear exactly what MM plans to do with the new site, many fans online are speculating that it will be an updated version of The Tig – Markle’s lifestyle blog before she got married. Prince Harry.
Tig also featured recipes, personal essays and advice from Markle, which may influence American Riviera Orchard’s choices. We’ll just have to wait and see, we guess — Meg hasn’t announced when she’ll pull the curtain back, but there is a waiting list Open.
After the royal couple’s somewhat turbulent year in 2023 – including a Spotify deal that fell through it is a rumors of partnership with Dior this never came to fruition – it seems that Meg is returning to the fundamentals and roots of her lifestyle.
Time will tell if this Orchard bears fruit.
