Janele Brown says she is emotional after fans paid tribute to her late son, Garrisondonating to animal shelters in their name…all as a way to highlight their pet cats.
The star of “Sister Wives” shared photos of Garrison and her cats on Instagram on Tuesday … saying she was brought to tears after learning that High Country Humane and Ark Cat Sanctuary in Garrison’s hometown of Flagstaff received several donations following her passing.
Janelle – who shared Garrison, as well as five other children, with her ex-husband Kody Brown – made it clear that this was the perfect way to honor Garrison… who she said loved being a cat dad.”
She adds, “The cats he adopted from both agencies were very important to him.”
Remember, Garrison rescued a nine-year-old cat — who he named Mrs. Buttons — shortly before her death earlier this month. At the time, Garrison shared that the cat was “at risk of euthanasia” before intervening.
We tell the story… Garrison passed away in an apparent suicide last week. As we noted, cops say your brother Gabriel was the one who discovered Garrison deceased in his home.
Janelle later confirmed the heartbreaking news… issuing a statement on behalf of herself and her ex-husband, Kody. She wrote… “His loss of her will leave a hole in our lives so big it will leave us breathless.”
Other tributes from the Brown family — which documented their once-polygamous life for 18 seasons — soon reached Garrison as well.
He was only 25 years old.
