BeyonceHer new album is a hit on streaming services, including perhaps the biggest one there is… achieving a daily record for 2024 so far, quite impressive.
The singer’s latest project, “Cowboy Carter,” became Spotify’s most-streamed album of 2024 in just one day since its release on Friday… and the numbers are out of this world. According to streaming data, ‘CC’ has been streamed 76.13 million times since it was released on Spotify.
Beyonce #COWBOYCARTER debut in @Spotify with an impressive 76.13 MILLION streams. Put into context, this is:
– almost double debut of act i (43.2 million)
– the biggest debut of 2024 by almost 30%
– the biggest debut by a black artist EVER
– the 6th biggest female debut of ALL TIME pic.twitter.com/9yeowYATIm– BEYONCÉ LEGION 𐚁 (@BeyLegion) March 30, 2024

That’s much bigger than what their last album, “Renaissance,” achieved on Spotify in just one day — around 43 million streams at the time — and is by far this year’s biggest release.
You see, this is the first time a country album has earned this title this year on Spotify… and not only that, but it’s the biggest Spotify debut for a black artist ever.
Even before the release of “Cowboy Carter,” Bey’s single “Texas Hold ‘Em” had already been streamed over 200 million times… so yeah, she’s doing well now as far as stats go with this latest drop. It seems like anyone is listening and then some.
As we reported… there were plenty of standout moments from the album that fans latched onto – including the fact that Beyoncé changed Dolly Parton“Jolene” in your head …and the fact that she subtly complains about not having won Album of the Year at the Grammys yet.
Of course, the song itself is also being praised left and right… and Spotify users agree!
