Iran says airstrike ‘barbaric and illegal’
Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Ministry condemned tonight the “barbaric and illegal” airstrike “by the Zionist regime”, which “constitutes a flagrant violation of international law, as well as a violation of Lebanon’s national sovereignty, territorial integrity and national security”, as stated by its representative, Nasser Kanani, in a statement he issued.
“There is no doubt that the Zionist regime seeks to increase tension and expand the geography of war and conflict in the region,” he continued, adding that “such an illegal policy constitutes a clear threat to international peace and security.”
