Thomas Matthew Crooks I wasn’t a fan of Donald Trump years before he tried to assassinate the former president… that’s what one of his former classmates says.
Vincent Taormina — who attended the same high school as the alleged killer — spoke to Fox News about Thomas’s political beliefs that led to Saturday attack …and he says the TMC didn’t like politicians, period. However, he apparently actually recoiled at the thought of the DT.

Vince says he and Thomas had a heated debate before the 2016 presidential election — and he describes the guy as smug and arrogant when discussing topics he was passionate about, which apparently included politics.
He claims Thomas mocked him for supporting Trump — with Vince noting that he supported DT at the time, citing his Hispanic heritage.
He continues… “He talked and talked and acted as if he knew everything, especially about politics, and he said it in a tone like, ‘I’m better than you,’ in a way.”

Vince also somewhat rejected the notion that Thomas was a loner who was actively bullied. On the contrary, he claims that Thomas was part of a small group of friends… who had a reputation for making school shooting threats.

As Vincent recalled… Thomas allegedly did not return to school for days after a threat was made against the school… although TMC’s involvement in this was never confirmed.
Thomas was shot and killed by Secret Service agents after opening fire at a Trump rally over the weekend. While the motive remains unknown, authorities are investigating the shooting, which left Trump injured and one rally attendee dead.
This account of Thomas seems to contradict what others have said about him—namely, that he was a loner and a constant victim of bullying…not to mention that he was shy.
