Will SmithIt seems like he’ll never get over his Oscar loss… because a fellow actor mentioned it during the Emmys, making fun of the movie’s name.
Creator of “Slow Horses” — also called Will Smith — just won an Emmy for writing the series… and when he got to the microphone, he couldn’t help but mention the most famous person with his own name.
Smith says, “First of all, relax, despite my name, I come in peace.”
Will’s joke got a lot of laughs before he moved on to the acknowledgments… so it looks like Smith wasn’t too late to get the joke — even though the incident happened about two and a half years ago.
Obviously, WS was referring to movie star Will Smith. slap Chris Rocha at the Oscars in 2022 after CR made a joke about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
The viral moment shocked the world and made Will the butt of jokes for months… even leading to him being ostracized by Hollywood for a time.

A lot has happened since then… with Jada and Will admitting they are really far away and had been like that for years before he slapped Chris — and Will’s ‘Bad Boy 4’ exploded this summershowing that people got over the bad taste left by the slap.
It seems the jokes still resonate with audiences… as long as Will Smith says them, we suppose.
