Simon was best known for being a canine on the ice… and for having the support of his teammates. In fact, he was suspended eight times during his NHL career for a total of 65 games.
Unfortunately, Simon’s death comes just hours after the news of Konstantin Koltsovis passing… a suspected suicide.
He was 52 years old.
