A 23-year-old man has tragically died of heatstroke in Eretria, having been found yesterday locked inside his family car, parked and unlocked in front of his home, having lost consciousness due to prolonged exposure to the heat and sun.
The parents of a 23-year-old Albanian man suffering from a neuropsychological disorder (autism – with mental retardation) took him to the Aliveri Health Center and then he was transferred by EKAB ambulance to the pathology clinic of Chalkida General Hospital, where he ended up last night.
According to doctors at the hospital, the unfortunate 23-year-old was transported there, without any level of consciousness, after waiting for many hours in a car and in high temperatures.
His parents were arrested and with the case brought against them for denouncing their son, they will be taken to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
