Meghan Markle rocked an impromptu look as she joined her “Fits” co-star Abigail Spencer to support a good cause on Wednesday, with the pair sporting a graphic tee that gives back to the young mother and father in an orphanage.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, posed with Spencer, 42, and her friend Kelly McKee Zajfen, in photos shared by Zajfen on Instagram, with the three wearing a white shirt ($38) with the words “Love like a mother” across a bold purple font.
“When we talk about the people in our lives who lift us up when you need it with a direct pressure of pure love, I consider these two. You encourage me. You choose me when I want and you love like a mother! ❤️🩹” Zajfen, who founded the charity Mothers’ Alliance, captioned the carousel of photos.
In the first photo, the trio are sitting in a grassy garden as they hold hands and laugh at their matching shirts, pairing the t-shirt with jeans and bare feet.
Spencer and Markle rest their heads on their friend’s shoulders in a sweet second photo, while the duchess poses alone with Zajfen in a sunny third photo.

One hundred percent of net proceeds from the $38 shirt will benefit the Alliance of Mothers, which provides young mothers in the Los Angeles foster care system with “important services, education and advocacy,” according to its founder.
This is the second year the Duchess of Sussex has modeled one of the charity shirts, with the mother of two posing with Zajfen in a T-shirt with flowers and the words “group” and “motherhood” in a May 2019 Instagram post. 2023.
The charity’s founder praised Markle as “extremely caring” and “an amazing friend and mother” in the post, and the two went on to share many more memories, like when they hit the slopes in Utah together earlier this year.
The Duchess of Sussex rocked a very different look last week when she attended the Royal Salute Polo Problem to profit from Prince Harry’s charity, Sentebale, in a sophisticated ivory Heidi Merrick Ginger suit ($515).
She swapped her halter-neck number – which some followers saw as a refined homage to her red-haired husband – for a black halter dress to attend a charity dinner on Friday night.
Markle has also been busy creating her new lifestyle brand, the first product from American Riviera Orchard, handing out lemon-filled gift baskets containing fresh fruit jam to 50 of her friends ahead of the brand’s official launch.
