Australian police have arrested and charged a 19-year-old woman following an investigation into Hezbollah flags flying at a protest in Sydney.
“He was arrested and charged with publicly displaying the symbol of a banned terrorist organization,” New South Wales police said.
Other participants in pro-Palestine protests held in Sydney and Melbourne last week also waved Hamas flags or posters of slain Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

Here people show solidarity with Hezbollah. No one should mourn the elimination of Nasrallah.

Authorities remain on high alert ahead of two protests planned this week to mark the one-year anniversary of the October 7 attack by Hamas in southern Israel.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese commented that the two protests — scheduled for October 6 and 7 — should not take place and that any demonstration would be seen as “incredibly provocative”. “There would be no point in any cause. This would cause great suffering,” he told national broadcaster ABC.
