Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik may not be together anymore, but they share one important thing in their lives… their daughter, Khai.
The two celebrities showered their daughter with love on Instagram on Thursday, as the little one turned 4.
The supermodel took to the photo-sharing site to share a glimpse of Khai’s 4th birthday party… which was a mix of rainbow themes, “The Mandalorian” and Disney Channel’s “Descendants.”
Khai blew out the candles on a massive Baby Yoda cake… which had rainbow layers inside. There was also a large inflatable slide, as well as an arts and crafts station… proving that Gigi spared no expense for her little one’s birthday.
However, eagle-eyed fans noticed a detail at the party that seemed to reveal Khai’s full name… a fake royal scroll announcing the 4-year-old’s enrollment at Auradon Prep, the central school in the ‘Descendants’ films.
If you look closer, the name is Khai Malik… confirming for the first time that Khai has his father’s surname.
While it’s unclear if Zayn was in attendance at Khai’s big birthday bash, the singer took to social media to share his own tribute to the toddler… where he called her “the most important person in (his) life.”
Waiting for your permission to upload Instagram media.
He continued… “I love you more than words can express, more than proud to call you my daughter… grateful for every second I get to spend with you as you grow into the incredible person I know you already are. Four years ago today, my life changed forever and I would not be the man I am today without you.”
Gigi and Zayn had a on and off relationship for 6 years, starting in 2015. The duo Welcome Khai in September 2020… just for end forever the following year.
The exes seem to have a good co-parenting relationship… even after Gigi moved on with actor Bradley Cooper.
Last year, Zayn shared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that “co-parenting is good” with Gigi…noting that they’re focusing on having an amicable relationship for Khai’s sake.
Gigi hinted at their friendly relationship on Thursday, seemingly referencing Zayn’s song “Dusk Till Dawn” in the caption of her birthday tribute.
Looks like there’s still a lot of love there!!!
