Method Man Addresses Comments About The State Of Hip Hop Following Diddy’s Arrest
TMZ recently spoke with Method Man and asked if Sean “Diddy” Combs’ portrayal could affect the way people view hip hop culture in the future.
“I don’t think it has anything to do with hip hop. It has nothing to do with hip hop at all! So I don’t see any correlation,” Method stated.
The ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ star then explained that if people compare creativity and music, “There are still people listening to R. Kelly.”
“I mean, I don’t know. I can’t answer that. But I don’t think it has anything to do with hip hop,” the rapper continued.

The latest on Sean Combs’ arrest and indictment
As The Shade Room previously reported, Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested and taken into federal custody on September 17. TMZ indicates that his arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into sex trafficking and other related crimes.
A 14-page indictment was released, detailing how Diddy “abused, threatened and coerced women and others to satisfy his sexual desires,” protect his reputation and hide his behavior.
According to TSR, the indictment also alleged that Combs operated his business as a criminal enterprise engaged in “sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”
Following his arrest, Combs appeared in court to face three counts of sex trafficking and racketeering. The 54-year-old music mogul has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Since his plea, Diddy has been denied bail twice.
