While talking to TooFab only on the blue carpet in Hollywood at the “CBS: An Evening of Sit-DOWN Comedy” event — where he was selling his new show Daddy’s house along with his father in real life, Damon Wayans Sr. — Wayans shared how he celebrated his New Woman victory of the castmate.
“I was working, but I had a lot of fun with it,” Damon Jr. said of Lamorne’s Supporting Actor in a Limited Collection or Anthology Film award for his work on Fargo. “I texted him, blew up his phone, posted it, reposted it, so excited, so happy for him, well deserved. I knew he was going to win, I texted him that morning saying, ‘I think anyone is going to win something today.’”
However, Lamorne may have some competition next year… according to Damon Sr.

Daddy’s house will likely air on Tuesday nights, just like Max’s CBS series, The Neighborhood — which will likely be heading into its seventh season. So, could we see a possible crossover between the previous castmates in the future?
“I would love to, we’ve thought about doing it,” Damon Jr. said. “We haven’t finalized it yet, but I hope people see it. Daddy’s house I love this as much as The Neighborhood after which we can collaborate.”
Daddy’s house follows a legendary radio host and happily divorced “Poppa” (Damon Wayans) who finds his perspective at work challenged when a new female co-host is hired. While at home, he finds himself still co-parenting his adult son (Damon Wayans Jr.).
