Diddy should be careful with him in prison… ‘ Because a former warden of the unit he’s in says there are many inmates who would see killing him as a badge of honor.
As you may recognize, Diddy is currently being held at MDC Brooklyn — an infamous federal detention facility in NYC — without bail. Sources with direct information tell us that Diddy is being held in the Special Housing Unit, away from the final inhabitants.
Cameron Lindsay — former warden of MDC Brooklyn — tells TMZ that Diddy’s placement inside the SHU is smart, as he’s a target behind bars … coupled with his celebrity status and the nature of the allegations against him, potentially bringing him unwanted attention from other inmates.
In fact, Lindsay claims that some would consider killing the mogul a “badge of honor”… so prison officials need to curtail access to the star.
Inside the SHU, Lindsay says Diddy’s lifestyle may be strictly regimented… with only one hour of recreation per day and three showers per week. We’re told family and friends may be allowed to visit periodically… while his lawyers may be given extra access to work on his case.
A day in the life of Diddy… Cameron says he’ll get a wake-up call at 6 a.m., at which time he can make his bed, scrub the floor, and generally keep his phone clean.
We have been instructed that he will receive three 1,800 calorie meals per day… all of which will be prepared early and allowed to wait in a warm field to be delivered to him, since he is not usually a prison resident – meaning the bland prison meals will not be very fresh when he receives them.
Diddy has access to a small store where he can buy smaller items — like candy, coffee, tea, cheese — as well as larger items like sweatpants, sneakers, and a radio.
James Kousourosrapper’s legal professional Casanova — who played at MDC Brooklyn before being sentenced to 188 months last 12 months for racketeering — tells TMZ that the circumstances in prison are much more dire than they appear.
Kousouros says fights and assaults often occur within the prison itself… and within the SHU, he says, Diddy may have very limited access to the library and his cellphone.

JK says it’s more durable for visitors to return and see people inside the SHU because it takes so long to get to the SHU… and the prison doesn’t allocate extra time — so even with regular visits, Diddy still probably won’t see much of his family.

Overall…it looks like Diddy may be living a pretty secluded life…until he’s released on bail soon.
