After the implementation of the legislative measure to transfer legal cases to lawyers, around 10 thousand cases were transferred from judges to lawyers for resolution, the ministry points out Justice.
In particular, the transfer of cases concerns the formation of associations, registrations and elimination of pre-notifications, as well as the issuance of inheritance certificates, while around 125,000 affidavits were issued by lawyers.
The legislative interventions of the Ministry of Justice “seek to relieve the courts of procedures that can conveniently be carried out by lawyers through the transfer of material from the courts, with the aim of the immediate and effective conclusion of legal actions and, by extension, the acceleration of Justice”, underlines the ministry and adds:
“In this way, material that until recently was the exclusive responsibility of the courts, but without litigation, is transferred to lawyers. This means a relief from the workload of judges, a substantial strengthening of the Bar Association and a faster response to citizens.
Due to the prestige of the legal profession and the character of the lawyer as an unpaid public servant and collaborator of Justice, the quality and security in the transfer of cases is guaranteed”.
