The semi-automatic rifle the Secret Service says it saw exploring Donald Trump on a golf course was taken as evidence… and the gun looks big and powerful.
New photos show police taking the gun away from Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach in an evidence box on Sunday … and placing it in the back of a Palm Beach County sheriff’s crime scene van.
Law enforcement officials said the gun, an SKS-style rifle with a telescopic sight, was loaded when it was recovered … and the gun’s serial number was “faded and illegible.”

The Secret Service says agents noticed the rifle sticking out of some bushes about 400 yards from where Trump was playing golf, with an officer responding to the potential threat by firing into the bushes where the rifle was spotted.
Routh reportedly dropped his gun and fled in a nearby SUV after Secret Service shot him… and sheriff’s deputies eventually caught up with him about 50 miles north of Trump’s golf club. arresting him.
So far, Routh has been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number… more charges are expected and he has already appeared in court.
