Sean Higgins — the man accused of killing Johnny Gaudreau and his younger brother in a drunk driving accident last week — just faced a judge again… and their appearance this time looked a little different.
The 43-year-old man, who appeared virtually in a New Jersey courtroom Thursday morning, was notably no longer in a anti-suicide apron …instead, he was seen in a simple orange jumpsuit. He also had a different style of beard… sporting a thick goatee.
The judge was expected to make a decision on Higgins’ pre-trial conditions at the hearing… but the proceedings were adjourned after just a few seconds.
Higgins must now remain behind bars until his next meeting with the judge on September 13.

This, of course, is the second time the public has seen Higgins in a courtroom since he allegedly crashed into Johnny’s back and Matthew Gaudreaubicycles on a rural road in Salem County on August 29. He initially appeared on August 30th — and seemed disheartened to learn that his stay in prison would last more than a few hours.
Higgins is currently facing two counts of death by car accident after authorities said he admitted to police that he drank “5 to 6 beers” before the crash.
