Two people were killed in Zaporizhia after Russian strikes. One of the victims is an 8-year-old boy.
A third person was killed in a rocket attack in the city of Dnipro, regional governors said.
Two people were also injured in Zaporizhia, according to a Telegram post by the governor of that province, Ivan Fedorov. One of the injured is a 12-year-old girl who is being treated in the intensive care unit.
Yesterday, Monday alone, 313 strikes and shellings were carried out against 11 areas, resulting in the destruction of many buildings in Zaporizhia province, Fedorov added. Among these strikes was a missile attack on the city of the same name.
Missiles on Dnipro too
Last night, Monday, Russian forces also launched missiles at the central city of Dnipro Ukrainekilling one person and injuring three, while houses were damaged, according to Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Serhii Lysak.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Air Force, in a statement on Telegram, said that overnight it had shot down 27 of the 35 drones launched by Russia. It also added that Russian forces had used three ballistic missiles and one cruise missile against Ukraine.
