If Aaron Donald feels like returning to the Rams this season, Kyren Williams account TMZ Sports He has no problem helping the defensive tackle get over it!!
AD, of course, retired in March… but after a video surfaced of him recently beating the former NFL running back LeSean McCoy in a race — many wonder if the future Hall of Famer has more gas in the tank than he wants to spend on Sundays.
According to Williams, he’s sure Donald is enjoying retirement…but said if that sentiment changed, he’d happily welcome him back into the locker room.
“We wouldn’t mind having him back,” the LA running back said. “We wouldn’t mind at all!”
With or without Donald, though, Williams told us he’s loving this year’s version of the Rams… insisting the team is good enough to win the Super Bowl.
In fact, the 24-year-old emphatically said he would put the LA squad “up against anyone” and is confident they would compete for the spot.
Williams will have a slightly different impact on the team in one way or another this year — as he’s slated to be the punt returner. He’s clearly excited about the role — though he said his fantasy football managers have begged him to stay healthy amid the added workload.
He’ll get his first chance in the new role next Sunday night when the Rams open the season against Detroit.
But before all that happens, Williams tells us he’ll be promoting DIRECTV For Business… in the hopes that it will bring more attention to his games in 2024.
