Cristina Hall seems to be on good terms with your first ex-husband. Amid the HGTV star’s divorce from Josh’s Salonshe took to her Instagram Story to celebrate her cordial relationship with Tarek El Moussa and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa.
In a photo taken at Christina and Tarek’s 8-year-old son Brayden’s soccer game, the exes are happily surrounded by each other. Heather is also smiling in the photo, while Tarek wraps his arm around his wife, whom he married in 2021.
“Our soccer team has come a long way,” Christina, who also shares Taylor, 13, with her ex, wrote alongside the photo.
Christina’s comment is an apparent reference to an infamous argument between her and Heather at a 2022 football game. In photos obtained by Daily Mail At the time, Tarek was seen pulling Heather away from Christina as the women had a heated argument while Josh watched.
“A personal matter was discussed and has now been resolved,” the foursome told ET in a statement at the time. “We are focused on co-parenting as a team going forward.”
Two months before Christina and Josh filed for divorce, was announced that she and Josh would be joining Tarek and Heather for a new HGTV show, The Flip Off. The show was designed to pit couples against each other to see who can find, buy, renovate and sell a home for the biggest financial gain.
After the news of the divorce, ET learned what The Flip Off is still set to move forward. According to a person close to The Flip Off production, the series only recently began filming scenes “a few weeks ago” and the team behind the series is still “figuring out what the plans are for the future.”
As for the divorce proceedings, Christina and Josh’s split became controversial when, in court documents obtained by ET, the mother of three said that “Josh managed to divert over $35,000 of my separate property rental income into his account.”
Christina said the alleged situation made her wonder “what else I don’t know about his financial situation and that’s why I’m having a full accounting audit done on the entirety of our marriage.”
ET has reached out to Josh for comment, and he has denied any wrongdoing.
After your court case, Christina spoke on her Instagram Story, writing: “I’ve worked hard to build this life for myself and my kids, and anyone who tries to take away what they don’t deserve/what they DIDN’T work for should be ashamed of themselves.”
“An insecure man with a big ego can certainly try to push you out of the way — but ‘still I get up,'” she continued. “For those who don’t know… divorces don’t happen overnight… and there is always a breaking point. This one is personal.”
As for how Josh is feeling, a source told ET that he was “blindsided” by the divorce, adding that he is “heartbroken” over the situation.
“Like all marriages, there were difficult times, but he never thought it would end in divorce,” the source said. “He was committed to her and his family.”
