Tata Curvv EV caught on video without camouflage and displays sequential indicators
One of the most anticipated cars of this year is the Tata Curvv after the Mahindra Roxx. Both are nearing their launch dates and creating quite a buzz in the auto industry. The Tata Curvv has just been spotted without any camouflage in a video, revealing the automaker’s new design direction.
The SUV coupe’s unique body style definitely grabs attention with its big presence. It looks very sporty from behind and you can notice the stylish sequential turn signals in this spy video. It has a roof-mounted split spoiler for a sporty look, stylish LED taillights and a muscular bumper that houses the reverse lights and reflectors with a faux skid plate below.
In the side profile, you can notice the flush door handles, which will be seen for the first time on a Tata Motors car. There is a black cladding across the lower half of the body, giving it a rugged appeal as well. The front profile might remind you of the Tata Nexon facelift as it borrows a lot of styling and mechanical elements from its sibling.
The interior will feature a new dashboard along with some top-notch features offered in the segment. Some of the features will include a 12.3-inch touchscreen, fully digital driver display, electric tailgate with gesture function, panoramic sunroof, reclining rear seats, ventilated front seats, and Level 2 ADAS.
The Tata Curvv EV will feature two battery options. The higher-spec variants will come equipped with a 55 kWh battery pack, while the lower-spec variants are expected to use the 40.5 kWh battery from the Nexon LR. Range details for the 55 kWh battery are yet to be revealed, but it is expected to be over 550 km, given that the 40.5 kWh battery has an ARAI-claimed range of 465 km.
The ICE version of the Curvv will have a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine that generates 120 HP, a new direct injection turbo petrol engine that generates 125 HP, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine available with 7-speed manual and DCT transmission options.
