Rich Homie QuanA platinum-selling Atlanta rapper is dead… TMZ Hip Hop has confirmed.
RHQ died Thursday at his home in Atlanta…according to his family and a representative from the Fulton County morgue.
Rich Homie Quan’s family told TMZ Hip Hop… that they are devastated and heartbroken over his sudden death. No cause of death has been reported and they are desperately searching for answers.
Born Dequantes Lamar in Atlanta, RHQ first burst onto the scene in 2013 with his instant classic hit, “Type of Way”… and followed it up with fan favorites “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” and “Ride Out.”
Rich Homie Quan joined later Young bandit on the Cash Money Records project, “Rich Gang”… and he was a frequent collaborator with his hometown friends, 2 Chains and Jacques.
The last time we spoke to him, RHQ tore into the current state of hip hop for their killer lyrics and pre-made song formats.
