“90 Day Fiancé” Star Josh Weinstein is being taken to court by a model… with her claiming that his production company used her image to promote his business, but is not paying.
Sharaun Brown has just filed a lawsuit against Josh, alleging that the reality star’s production business Preview Models used her photos on its website to promote the company, endorsing her as a “celebrity mentor” and using her to attract hopefuls to models.
According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Sharaun claims that Preview Models began using her likeness around February 2023, adding her photos to advertisements for open castings, fashion shows and booking services.
Josh’s company promises aspiring models the chance to model in front of Los Angeles’ top modeling agencies… and Sharaun claims the company is using its fame to give the business some legitimacy among models.
The problem is… Sharaun says Josh agreed to compensate her for using her images in educational and marketing materials, but Sharaun says he didn’t pay.
In the documents, Sharaun says that after Josh never followed through on the money, she requested that Preview Models stop using her image in any way around May 2023. She claims that Josh’s business is making it appear that she endorses the company, when in reality it DOES NOT do so.
Sharaun is suing for unspecified damages for unauthorized use of her images and for violating her right of publicity.
We’ve reached out to Weinstein… so far no response.
