Aaron Rodgers is opening up about his decision to renounce his political career — at least for now — saying he simply wasn’t ready to give up his day job as a quarterback for the New York Jets.
AR8 spoke to the media at his team’s OTAs on Tuesday… when he addressed his name being thrown around as Robert F. Kennedy Jr.Potential running mate for the 2024 presidential elections.
Specifically, he was asked how seriously he considered the move… and Rodgers explained that he was facing a fork in the road – but ultimately it all came down to one thing.
“I love Bobby,” Rodgers said minutes ago. “We had some really good conversations, but there were two options: retire and be vice president or keep playing. I want to keep playing.”
