The debut on the Greek market with an office in Athens was made by Cegeka, global Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services group based in Belgium. The company has an ambitious development plan in the Greek market until 2026, which includes hiring technologically qualified and specialized personnel and activity in critical technological sectors.
The new office currently serves as the base for Cegeka’s Global Delivery Center, with 50 employees, which aims to double its workforce to 100 by the end of the year. As Tom De Vos, Executive Vice President Global Delivery at Cegeka, stated, “This strategic move to expand our customer service team in Greece was a targeted decision, based on the presence of specialized IT professionals, shared cultural references and entrepreneurial spirit. , which coexist in the country”. He added that “the creation of our own office underlines our commitment to Greece and our faith in its future. We hope to further strengthen our partnership with the country’s talented human resources and aim to increase our team to 100 people by the end of the year, with the ambition to create a Greek team of 300 IT experts, specializing in hybrid cloud, cybersecurity, digital workplace, software engineering, etc., by 2026. ”
