This Memorial Day… Jennifer Lopez Get an exo-suit. About Netflix.
The film is called Atlas, and stars Lopez in a sci-fi thriller about a future threatened by an AI terrorist. (Clearly not in the distant future.) The only person who can stop this is J.Lo, with the help of her own advanced robotic combat suit, which has its own personality that speaks to her. Simu Liu It is Sterling K. Brown also star.
The trailer for Atlas suggests that it is more or less like this Iron Man but an iron woman speaking with the robot voice in her head and also, instead of fancy armor, it’s a huge walking tank, like something out of Avatar. Check out the first teaser for the film below:

The film is directed by Brad Peyton, who has previously directed Dwayne Johnson’s blockbusters. San Andreas It is Fury.
In an interview with Weekly entertainmentLopez says she was attracted to Atlas for its “touching and moving story…of friendship and learning to trust; the bond between two beings who connect under disastrous circumstances and teach each other how to be more human.”
Here’s the film’s official synopsis:
Atlas Shepherd (Jennifer Lopez), a brilliant but misanthropic data analyst with a deep distrust of artificial intelligence, joins the mission to capture a renegade robot with whom she shares a mysterious past. But when her plans go awry, her only hope of saving humanity’s future from the AI is to trust her.
It’s always great when a streaming service that relies on algorithms to serve its customers makes a movie about people learning to trust advanced technology. Atlas premieres on Netflix on May 24th.
