Coachella weekend 2 ended on a low note, financially speaking, because the music competition is experiencing a tremendous $28,000 gain Lana Del Reyis defined.
A representative from the City of Indio, where Coachella takes place, tells TMZ… the singer’s show lasted more than 13 minutes on Friday night. It may not seem like such a dangerous infraction, but it is enough to trigger a penalty.

Lana’s weekend 2 set featured 19 full songs…along with a shock efficiency in Camila Cabellowhich featured their new single, “I LUV IT”.
However, we reported that this is the better of the music festival’s two weekends… so overall, Coachella organizers probably see this as a win.
The $28,000 is a big difference from last year’s curfew violations, which resulted in $117,000 in fines. Likewise, in 2022, the 2 weekends of competition – plus 1 weekend of Stagecoach – resulted in the city handing out $61,000 in fines.
However, from what we’ve been told, this year’s occasion was visibly much less turbulent than in previous years.

As TMZ previously reported…weekend 1 was down 20% in arrests and 43% in citations.
But, this may need something to do with the lackluster ticket sales for this 12 month occasion. There were still plenty of Coachella passes available on the website… surprisingly different from previous years where the event sold out in less than a day.
So while the reduction in arrests and fines is good for the city…it could be a bad sign for the future of Coachella.
