A Colorado bus aide has been arrested after disturbing footage emerged showing her beating a non-verbal autistic boy she was tasked with watching… and the injuries are shocking.
28 years Kiarra Jones is facing 2 counts of crimes against at-risk children in Denver after she was arrested on April 4… when a boy’s parents reported that one day he came home with bruises – this after months of unexplained injuries that would appear in your body.
Cops say they’ve obtained surveillance footage from the bus – which is circulating online… and it’s best to watch at your own discretion, as it shows a brutal attack.
Jones is sitting next to the boy and appears to elbow him in the stomach, slap him in the face and, if that wasn’t enough, even step on his foot. What makes it even more painful is the helpless boy trying to distract himself by looking out the window.
The boy’s mother, Jessica Vestal, says he released the footage on Tuesday to ensure something like this doesn’t happen again. Jones has since been booked.
Cops say they also found footage from two other bus rides dating back to mid-February… where Jones appears to be harming other autistic children as well. The police are investigating.
Needless to say, Jones was immediately forced from his position following his arrest. She was released from prison after posting bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for May 3.
Parents say they are considering legal action against the school district.
